The boy gave a short talk in the primary program at church. He wrote the script himself and read it with confidence. I was so proud, I cried with ‘pure joy’ as he put it. He was very pleased to see me crying.
He has worked so hard for years to get to this point, along with his teachers at school as well as the specialists, and therapist, and the daily fight to practice. It’s night and day from a year ago.
