The Crusher
Husband got his own workout machine. The boy has already walked several miles and got his own patch of road rash when he forgot it doesn’t stop when he does. Yes, he is wearing a bungee cord as a belt.

Reindeer games
Santa came, but brought some new elves. The elves messed up and put presents all over the house and even outside. The boy had to follow clues and do some tasks to find them.

Random December
Kitty cat snuggling the boy on purpose but only while he’s asleep.
When I was pregnant with the boy, I was worried about a lot of things. My symptoms were mild but he was in trouble the whole time. I worried that I would miscarry. I worried that if I did, people would blame me. I was fortunate in that I had what I needed, and had the baby, early, but not too early. But my worry is a reality for another woman. She lives in Ohio, went for medical help, didn’t receive it, miscarried, and is now being prosecuted.

Primary program
Every year, our church puts on a primary program. Basically, the children spend months learning songs, and then a couple Sundays practicing performing those songs, to stand up one Sunday, during Sacrament meeting. Each kid is given a small speaking part, too. The boy was given a two line piece, but he did not like all those eyes on him.

Cellphone head
The boy with his ‘cellphone head’ helmet. We have several cardboard helmets around the house. This one he chose to wear to his vision therapy appointment. When the owner of the practice saw us sitting in the waiting room, she stopped to comment on his creative way of coping with overstimulation. So I had to take a pick.
