We went to 2 egg hunts for Easter, one at our church, and one at the local baptist church. These pics are from our ward hunt. Baby and I got there 15 minutes after it started and about 10 minutes after it was kind of over. All the eggs had been picked, and I'd forgotten a basket anyway. A couple kind boys lent baby a basket, and tried to get him to pick up an egg from the ground.
He had no clue what was going on. He just liked playing with the big kids, and, of course, the basket.
We went to the local Baptist church right after with some friends. I dropped by our house to pick up a little toy bucket that's meant to carry little plastic shapes. It didn't help. Baby still had no idea he was supposed to pick up eggs and put them in the bucket. He was more interested this time in stealing another baby's bottle.
Such a cute little guy, out there in charge of the big guys.
