The beauty machine gets them early

Baby found my puffy eye stick a few days ago.  He's seen me wipe the wand under my eyes plenty of times so he totally knows what to do.

Here he is using it to de-puff his neck.

You can also see the remnants of his breakfast in front of him: waffles and peaches.  Did he eat any?  No, no he did not.

Don't. Stop. Don't stop.

Happy Birthday to my boys

Both my guys had birthdays this week.  We decided to have 2 parties; one for the babies from Church, and one for some taller people.

The baby party was hilarious.  They followed each other arounaround in little groups.

They played in the little house, they ran up and down the ramps going from one level to the next.  They climbed over rocks.  They pulled apart some balloon.

Andrew made a picture station. 

That afternoon I made the ugliest, creepiest cake ever.

Which we tossed out.  It was supposed to be a dragon, as the theme of the parties were dragons love tacos.

But the due leaked from grainy butter cream into puddles that looked like pools of blood.

We bought a new cake and made tacos, and took little naps before the next group came through. 

Another splash park

There a few splash parks around the city.  Basically glorified sprinklers, great for little kids.  Unless your kid is on the cautious side, like mine.  He has to take a minute, hang back and take in the lay of the land before going in.  He's gets that from me.

We went to the splash pad at this out door mall with a friend.  Her son is a bit younger than Arch, and such a sweetie.  The two of them played nicely together for a while and with the boy's older sisters.  It was so cute, the two of them chasing after each other.
