Pumpkin patch 2017

Andrew got Wednesday off instead of his usual Monday.  We took advantage of the beautiful autumn day to go to a pumpkin patch.  Well, it was more of a kiddie fall fun land, with pumpkins for purchase at the end.  There were picture cut outs, which baby pushed me out of the way to get into.

A new thing for us, a duckie race.  Water flows down a pipe, and kids can put a rubber duck at the top, then the water is piped back up to the top.  baby thought it was the best thing ever.

There were also a couple inflatable activities: a platform to run and jump in, a dragon obstacle course, and a maze.  We put baby on the dragon, which annoyed him right away because he didn't get a chance to look things over first.  Fortunately, some bigger kids came along and climbed right up, then slid right down.  One kid kind of pushed baby down the slide, which was exactly what he needed.

There was a petting zoo.

Earlier that week: baby thought I needed to climb into his covered little red wagon. I did only barely fit.

then at the dollar store, the little cars needed to line up for their tune up.

Happy belated Halloween

At our church's trunk or treat.  We were the 3 bears.

At Anderson farms. Baby was not too keen on the wheel barrow.

Family pile up.  Just for the fun of it.

1st Halloweem

Carved pumpkins!!

A friend threw a Harry Potter Halloween party last night.  The party was complete with potions, Hogwarts history, charms class, and the rest.  We decided to go as 2 dementors  (jailers for the wizard prison in the book series) and a prisoner from that jail.  He's an adorable prisoner, covered with kisses.

I made the costume out of a scrap of stripped jersey.  Andrew made the sign out of a manila folder.
Andrew and I dressed in black, with a small cape covered in scraps of fabric and a cut up trash bag.  I spent too much time seeing those capes, considering we wore them for all of an hour.
