Right before his first birthday, I noticed he was get tube his first tooth. Yeah! A little behind normal, but I'll take it. He wasn't acting grumpy at all like I'd been led to expect. Cutting teeth is difficult, painfully business, but baby was doing it without a whimper!
But now comes the second round. It looked like he was getting a top lateral incisor, rather than the other central incisor on the bottom. Weird, but okay. It's hard to follow the progress of the little tooth buds, because baby won't exactly show them off. Once in a while, you can catch a glimpse.
Yes, Andrew is holding baby upside down.
It's hard to see, but it looks to me like all FOUR top teeth are coming at once. Or dropping, but only one has cut. Or something. I'm not sure of the terminology.
So congrats, baby. You're in for a rough ride.
On a separate note, Andrew got off early on Friday, so we took the opportunity to visit the open house for the new Ft Collins temple. It's going on for another week or so, but Saturday is super crowded. It is beautiful, of course, with a feel of the older temples. Curved ceilings, and lots of gorgeous stained glass.
There's a visitor tent so you can learn more about temples, and about this one in particular. Then a big still shot of the temple you can get your picture taken in front of. No worrying about other pesky toutists.
This is not that picture.
proud of you guys. Little guy getting his teeth without a whimper. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteholding the kids upside down was the only way we could see our kiddos teeth too! They love it anyway :)
